AutoRender AI is a subscription-based SaaS platform built for architects, interior designers, and real estate professionals. It eliminates the need for manual 3D modelling by letting users upload a 2D CAD file or reference photo and receive a high-quality render in seconds. The platform offers ten distinct AI-powered modules including inpainting, upscaling, sketch-to-render, weather and lighting variations, and cinematic video flythrough generation, all accessible through a single unified web interface.

The Challenge

Problem & Goals

Building a frontend for a generative AI platform meant dealing with challenges far beyond standard web development. Every module shipped a different interaction model: some streamed results progressively, others required multi-step wizard flows, and the video module demanded timeline-style controls. The UI had to feel premium and animated without becoming a performance liability for users on slower connections across 55 plus countries.

The Solution

How I Solved It

The approach was to build a modular component architecture in Next.js where each AI module could be developed, tested, and deployed independently. Redux handled global job state so users could queue multiple renders and track progress without losing context. Carefully scoped animations delivered the visual richness the product demanded without triggering layout reflows. Tailwind enabled rapid consistent styling across a complex design system.
