DesignMeter AI

The goal of DesignMeter is to make professional UI/UX reviews accessible and scalable through artificial intelligence. Instead of relying solely on manual design audits, users can instantly receive structured feedback about their product's design quality. The platform evaluates different aspects of user experience and delivers actionable suggestions that help teams improve engagement, usability, accessibility, and visual consistency. The project was built as a modern SaaS product using Next.js, Supabase, and AI-powered analysis workflows.

The Challenge

Problem & Goals

Building an AI-powered design evaluation platform presents unique challenges because design quality is often subjective. The system needed to generate meaningful and actionable feedback while analyzing different layouts, visual patterns, usability principles, and user experience factors. Additionally, the platform required a scalable architecture capable of handling website analysis requests, user management, report generation, and future AI feature expansion.

AI-Powered Design Evaluation

Developed workflows that transform UI screenshots and website data into meaningful UX and usability insights.

Scalable SaaS Architecture

Built a scalable backend infrastructure using Supabase to support future growth and feature expansion.

Actionable UX Feedback

Focused on generating recommendations that users can directly apply to improve design quality and user experience.

Full-Stack Performance

Implemented both frontend and backend systems using modern Next.js architecture for speed, maintainability, and scalability.

Product Evolution

Designed the platform to support continuous iteration, allowing new AI capabilities and analysis features to be added after launch.

The Solution

How I Solved It

The platform was developed using Next.js for both frontend and backend services alongside Supabase for authentication, database management, and scalable infrastructure. AI models were integrated to evaluate website interfaces and generate objective UX recommendations. The system was designed with a modern SaaS architecture, allowing rapid feature development, efficient data management, and continuous product improvements after launch.
